An RTA First! This year's field trip will be in conjunction with the RailTEC Tie Symposium at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This year the Field Trip will be open to both RTA members and non-members to allow for more railroad participation in the RTA portion of the event. See the agenda for some remarkable stops we have planned. This should be an exciting and informative Field Trip!

Reception at Hyatt House Hotel in Schaumburg, IL. Committee meeting will take place prior to the reception. Since Schaumburg is a NW suburb of Chicago, best bet is to fly into O’Hare Airport. You will want to fly out of the Urbana-Champaign (CMI) area, though, since the bus will not be taking anyone back to Chicago. CMI has flights to O'Hare and Dallas/Fort Worth.
