Committee Assignments for 2008:

1. Conduct annual Tie Grading Seminar on July 20-22, 2008 at the Seaman Timber plant in Montevallo, AL. Seminar will cover wood preserving and related practices, as well as crosstie inspection and grading.  Report on the seminar at the annual conference.
2. Administer RTA's Forestry Scholarship program, and report results to the Executive Committee.
3. Seek out articles and economic statistics and other data for review and release in Crossties magazine.
4. Report on activities to the RTA 2008 conference.
